October half Term Camping ideas/advice

Postby KLCG on Mon Sep 06, 2010 9:33 pm

Ok so now having added all my meters together we have come to realise that with the Tent + Awning + Extension you get 1235m which is big
so if i just use Tent + Awning it will still be 975m. I have come to realise that means i will usually need to find a site with very large pitches with EHU which could be rare??

So challenge where is good to go for October half term down south and do they do large pitches???

Your challenge begins now....... ;)

Blimey that's big, lol! :bigwink:
Waldegraves on Mersea Island (www.waldegraves.co.uk 01206-382898) have some quite large electric pitches (if you book early enough), they also have 2 non electric fields (where we camp) which means you can take up as much room as you like.

Chestnut Meadows near Bexhill (see my fave campisite link) have huge pitches - like 12m square and lots of space around them.
