Our hartford is a big tent and most sites can usually find you a pitch if you warn them of the size ...... buy one and bring it to the campout at shell so i can have a look :tune:

Its not a site I would be even considering visiting then. There's plenty of sites willing to take my money and allow me to pitch with a footprint of 7.7m by 4.15m.

Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...

@sarahc
After much deliberation I too have taken the plunge and bought a Tenby 10 (Now just have to sell the horizon 8 tent) ready for this years main camping trip,there's me, my son and partner with his 3 kids (and the dog) so this tent should be well big enough for the brood. I hope there's a helpful soul willing to help me put the centre part up as OH not coming down till day 2!

I really liked the space inside on seeing the display model..........I may even contemplate buying the canopy - i read another review that as the porch bit has a slopy front it could suffer with rain drippige.

Can't wait for June half term week in Devon - hope you enjoy your tent too! Be interested to hear how you get on.

I saw a Tenby on display at Camperlands a month back. I was VERY impressed. Excellent quality and brilliant design. They also had a Frinto 5 which, with the exception of one minor design feature, was just as impressive. Both were very reasonably priced. KAMPA really are producing the biggest bang for your buck at the moment.

We took the Tenby 10 to Sussex for 5 nights over Easter - first morning woke up to frost!!!

Was such a big tent - relatively easy to put up too. We were advised to pitch the middle section first, then either end then the porch and this worked really well.

The tent experienced all types of weather on this trip ranging from frost, to sun to driving wind and howling rain!! The tent stood up to it all, we managed to have 4 adults, 6 kids and a German shepherd dog inside eating so there is acres of room.

It is a great tent - did struggle to get it back into the bag, but practice will make perfect....

Glad to hear that it is reliable and spacious, do you think it would be a good tent for a group of 4/5 for a festival?

Also does anyone know where it can be purchased for the lowest price? Thanks
