Outwell Tinted Windows

Postby OutdoorWorldDirect on Mon Dec 05, 2011 4:11 pm

Just received an email regarding tinted windows on the Classic range of 2012 tents:

""
I have been advised by our product & development team, at head office, that unfortunately the Outwell Classic range of tents will not have ”tinted windows” for the 2012 season. Please can you make an amendment to the product specification information that we have emailed to you for your website usage.""

So anyone who has been looking at the Outwell Classic tents - Cougar lake, Clear Lake, Montana Lake, Wolf Lake, Bear Lake and Trout Lake, Indian Lake

Please note there will not be tinted windows on these models as originally advertised, seen quite a lot of chat regarding tinted windows so thought i'd give you all a heads up before you go buying them on that initial information.

Cheers

That car looks like a gay Transformer Andy! :?

Well i suppose tinted windows provide some privacy and may reflect the suns heat a bit so keeping the living area cooler in summer????

Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...

Andy, not sure why they have removed the tinted windows, if i had to guess i would say it was sometghing to do with rising costs of production in China.

Apparently, other companies have tried it before and struggled to manufacture it due to cost.
