Force Ten Thoughts and Opinions?

Postby emmar on Wed Nov 16, 2011 11:32 am

'Hi,

I currently work for Force Ten by Vango and I would like to get some opinions and experiences from the users of Force Ten.

If you have been a user of Force Ten, what are your thoughts on its tent design features, pricing and benefits? What kind of improvements would you like to see? If you have never tried Force Ten before, why and what is your thoughts of it as a brand in the market?

Are there any other brands that you use and/or prefer? Why?

What other outdoor pursuits do you enjoy while camping?

* If you wish to, please specify where you are from.

Thanks in advance'.

Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...

Thanks. It is Vango and Force Ten that I work with, part of AMG Group.

Your feedback is important for development and very much appreciated!

Hi Emmar. :welcome:
Nice to hear from you.
From the very little I know of modern mountain trekking tents, and from what I have read in books and recently from trekking sites on the net, all the recommended tents seem to be inner first with a full geodesic design pole systems.
But notice very few of yours have this system. is their any reason why most of yours are tunnel design with external pole sleeves on maybe not designed for the tops all year round.and are your full geodesic design tents inner first. My days on the High moors of Dartmoor and Exmoor was a cotton ridge tent overfly and a bivvy bag and a double eider down, and this was a bulky pack to carry so once set up I did not move too often :bigwink: :D But i was always warm and dry.
All the best
Rex.

PS Emmar
Do you make the force ten in Scotland or are they made in the Farr East.
(It is not what you want in life,It is what you need.)
