I notice you say "they" when referring to this post but we have never had instructions to big our selfs up on forums etc, its just one person who i assume decided that it may help his/her store. Its a shame that they have done this as it doesn't show trustworthiness as you have mentioned in one of your comments (this is practicably what crazycamper said, sorry if you didn't mean it like this) but they are an individual, not the entire company, we've all made stupid mistakes in the past!!! :P
Its a shame that this has happened
Sorry on their behalf and I hope that you all have possitive interactions int he future :)

Just an idea, & please admin, tell me to mind my own business if I'm over-stepping the mark, but......

Why don't you tell your boss, or head of marketing or whatever, to come along & get a presence here on TheCampingForum, we have a few traders on here, & they have proved to be very useful.

I would also suggest that this forum is very much up-&-coming, whereas a certain other camping forum is very much dying, very much a dinosaur which has indeed had it's day.

The day of this particular forum (TheCampingForum) is very much to come, & very soon IMO. We are a friendly but very much down to earth bunch on here, & very much like to take as we find.

I reckon it would be a good thing for Yeomans to have an on line presence on TheCampingForum. Like you said, we've all made mistakes, if one or two members of staff feel strong enough about their company to come on in such a covert manner & do such a thing, it only says how highly they regard the company they work for.

I say get 'em on here.
4 Canvas tents (various sizes)
3 Plastic tents (various sizes)
& 1 Tin tent (yes, I'm a turn-coat, but it has a canvas awning)

No we don't see it as advertising and we encourage you to tell the forum about promotions, deals, show dates and anything that's of interest.

Get stuck in and become a part of the forum :D

I wished the other guy had come back, all was forgiven  .

Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...

Shame the post was started really, i'm sure at some point I would have mentioned the bargains I have had from Yeomans (No, I don't work for them!)
Our local store always seems quite highly priced, but then so is the rest of the garden centre that houses the store. Saying that though, we did buy our tent from them when there was a pretty hefty discount. Online however, I have always been impressed. Good deals on our Outwell Virginia 5 carpet and Coleman toilet as well as a few smaller items.

Just to level the playing field a bit - I usually stick with good old Amazon, or the occasional bargain on E-bay
