Instructions for Palacio 6 tent

Postby Davsas on Sat Jul 31, 2010 8:33 pm

Hi I'm new to this forum, and to camping in general ( as an adult anyway). I have brought a palacio 6 tent from a friend, minus the instructions. I tried to put it up today, but failed. Please can someone help with some steps, or a copy of the instructions. I will be very grateful for any kind of help,

Cheers,

Dave

Hi Dave and a warm welcome to the forum.

Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...

Hi mate, sorry for delay worked last night. Just looked and the only diagram is on outside. It shows dimensions and a see through pic of tent erected, but not how to erect it!
If I quickly explain what I do know you may be able to fill in the gaps?
There is the main body of tent with coloured slots, there are also polesthat match colours so presume they go in there. End of poles are just open pipes but on tent in area where pole end are some pins, do the pins slot in to holes to secure? I have all poles in, except 2 which are just gold in colour with spikes on end, from my limited experience I think these are to lift tent butcant see any rings in tent to put them without damage to it?

Right you lay the tent on the floor and spread it out.
Then feed the coloured poles in to the coloured sleves leaving an equal amout each side.
It may then be easier if someone goes in the tent and lifts up the centre of the tent.
You can then put the ends of the poles on to the pins so bending the poles and formong the shape of the tent.
when all of the poles are in you can peg it out tight.

I think you will find two rings in the bottom corners of the door. You can then use the 2 gold poles with the spikes through these rings to hold the door up in to a canopy. :D

Hope this helps mate :D
