hi all,
Well i'm a bit miffed at argos!! I just purchased an outwell vacanza montreal 400 at rgos last week and now they have reduced it even further to half price It was £249 reduced to £156 and noe its £124. This really boils my blood as i purchased on saturday 17 and took delivery on thursday 22 , do you think they will price promise and refund me the differance ??

Personally i know this is a kick in the nether regions but i doubt they will.

They do not have to honour the new price, you could return it for a refund and then buy it again but it is a lot of hassle. The truth is they do not have to honour any advertised price now you have purchased

Yep thats what I thought , HHHmmm I think I will give it a go anyway !! you never know they may give me some vouchers if I say I want to buy some camping accessories

I will post back and let you know I also pm'd Miss B regarding the price cuts as I read she was interested

Well today I contacted Argos Customer revices and explained that I had within two weeks purchased the montreal 400 and now Its cheeper (down to half price) I was very polite and asked if I coul send it back and then re purchase it !! the lady said no dont do that I will send you a cheque for £41:00 which is the differance

So now I am a very happy bunny and glad I rang up and the tent has now only cost me £124:00 A real bargain I think

yes and I also got the carpet half price before it went back up ,so all in all i'm a well happy bunny

how fantastic a service is that. i have just been and bought the same tent - Vacanza by Outwell Montreal 400 at the same excellent price. Me and my 8 year old son fancy a few cheeky summer breaks without Dad, and we have a BIG Outwell Montana 6. Unmaneagable for just me. So looking forward to using it in a couple of weeks
