I am getting the 4pm ferry from Dover tomorrow to dunkirque for the start of a 3 month trip. What's my best option for camping in or around Dunkirque. I 'm travelling by car. To start off with, I'll be heading towards Metz, Nancy, Strasbourg then probably Switzerland after Dunkirque.

Would consider some wild camping out of Dunkirque if necessary; but would prefer campsite.

If your heading for Metz, I'd stop in Belgium, Bruges far nicer and plenty to do, mets is not far from Luxembourg so worth stopping also not only for the great place it is but the cheaper fuel! We day tripped Metz from Luxembourg so it's not far
