Asado Grill - One pan breakfast bosh

This is a great one pan breakfast, that is hearty enough to get you through a full day.

Ingredients:
Potatoes - Any kind
Sausages - Pref small chipolatas
Mushrooms
Tomatoes
Eggs - 4 per pan
Cheese
Salt / pepper
Butter or Oil

1. Chop the potatoes into 1.5cm chunks & sauté In a largish frying pan with butter or oil.
2. After about 10 mins add the sausages and cook for a further 8 to 10 mins until the sausages are fully cooked.
3. Add the chopped mushrooms and cook for a further 3 to 5 mins until they look cooked too.
4. Mix the eggs in a bowl, then pour into your pan. Give the pan a bit of a shake to get the egg in and around all the other ingredients.
5. Place the chopped up tomatoes in the pan.
6. Sprinkle the grated cheese over everything in the pan.
7. Cook until the cheese has melted and the egg is firm.
8. EAT!

I'm gonna cook this one when we go away this weekend.

:D :D :D :D

Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...

Can I just ask, are the Asado grills portable as in can they be dismantled and packed away flat each time or do you have to keep them set up?

Its pretty much 3 parts.. the metal tray that holds the disposable bbq and then 2 legs.. which just screw on each side. assuming you take the screwdriver with you then it would only take up the same space pretty much as a disposable bbq itself :)

Oh right, in that case I might look into getting one as the last three times we've camped we haven't been able to bbq because of the weather, at least this way we could do it inside the tent.

I would really recommend against this from a safety point of view. and from a smokey one.. I BBQ under an open gazebo early this year.. and that did not work out to well.. stinging eyes from the smoke.. and that was with no walls on..

Cheers

Submit a camping recipe to the recipe forums before friday and you could be in with a chance of winning one! we have not had many entries for this either! were going to be cooking up the entries on the campout and giving them all a try and then announce the winner the following week :)
