Storage of gas cyclinder (hello from newbie)

Hi

I am new to camping and managed to get my daughters in to it. We have a Vango Icarus 500 which we are pleased with and have just bought a Campinggaz Camping Chef stove with 4.5 kg Butane bottle.

My question is regarding the storage of the cylinder. Is it safe to store on the floor in the corner of our garage (I'm just a little nervous with having a gas cyclinder).

You wouldn't be alone in having a gas cannister in the garage/shed fella.

I have a couple for various reasons, as long as there is some ventilation it will be fine in case it does leak which is highly unlikely.

So no worries ;)
One day the wife will understand the need to go mountainbiking at least twice a week!!!

I have cylinders all over the place. I can see two on the patio from here. Ones in the shed and ones round the side of the house in the covered in area. I think they can take a fair bit and don't think there is much to worry about.




Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...
