As per the title.

Some of you seem to have/take a lot of kit with you when camping...how do you fit it all in?

I've got a Kia Picanto, so only take stuff we really need. I have 2 teenage daughters,so make-up, straightners, shoes & handbags, count as stuff they really need.
Happiness is packing your tent away dry & getting it back in the bag :-)

We use my wifes car with roofbox a Toyota Verso, although when we did buy roof bars for mine with the view for shorter breaks (campout in september) we can use mine.. will have to see if that fits yet though :)

My missus has a Renault Scenic and Erde trailer which we can just about get everything in for a two week holiday! I have a 2 door Corsa and can fit in everything for a short weekend, but we can only take the bare minimum. :D
If you're not doing it outdoors, it's not worth doing!

We just about squeeze it all into Peugeot 206. It's a tight squeeze, but we do it. There are just two of us though .....

We have found that keeping the rear seats upright, gives us more space than dropping the back seats .....

Thinking that either my wifes vectra or my passat estate may struggle with space.

Plus I think my passat may struggle getting into most sites...

Debating selling the passat in exchange for a t4 transporter with a 3seat rear bench fitted and plenty of room for kit.

With the news the other week of my wifes pregnancy time has come to be all sensible and get a van... although it may get my 'style' added over time for a few VW shows

hopefully eventually end up looking something like....

Mazda 5. Three of us, one of which is 19months old and I had to lower the seats that were not being used to get everything in

We are going away for another 5 days this Tuesday - determined to travel a little lighter this time

Having a car full of people is no issue.... Speed bumps are

Think its time to grow up and be sensible.

Oh and just for the record I'm not one of these muppets that drives like an idiot around towns or hangs around the local fast food outlet. Just have an interest in cars and vws inparticular. :D

Well we used to go camping in our bright yellow 2 door Fiat Punto, but now my wife has found out about glamping and our list of kit is now wrote on A4 paper instead of a stamp, we have had to get a Ford Focus estate , although we now have aquired a toilet tent so I guess a roof box will be my X mas present
