Campsites

Postby Gillsy on Thu Jul 08, 2010 4:22 pm

On FB , i have an application that lets me tick off the football grounds i've been to. I was wondering if we could have something similar on here, for campsites. :)

Hmmmm....

well im not sure how.. also with so many campsites a list could get pretty long..

I could pretty easily add a "My favourite campsite" to the profile options. you would only be able to list one site.

would that be a good start???

I'll keep the topic open and keep it in mind when looking at available upgrades.

I have an idea forming from the ashes of Merlins idea

What about if there is something that everyone can add there visited sites to.
Then if I click on Shell Island it will tell me how many members have been there (and maybe how many times)
It would have to be one where someone (Merlin  ) becomes the editor of as I appreciate your hands are always full anyway Andy. Maybe people ask for a site to be added and then from there they can tick it as visited or something. It could be added /searched by name and postcode.

Maybe a future idea.

Actually the more I think about the site would actually get a feedback score a bit like a seller on Ebay.
Maybe allow 30 words to describe the site and score it out of 5, could be fun.

Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...

Take a look at my football one on FB, it's a map of GB, & it's got pinpoints all over it. With that you can't add any details, but i think that would be a good idea :)

If you go into your user control panel you can now add the name or URL of your favourite campsite. I will keep in mind your original request.

Thanks

Yes , i know, that's where we went at the weekend. The best bit was, in the evening you can hear children playing instead on adults getting drunk until the early hours, i really noticed the difference. :D

I love the way on this forum, you can stray from the begining topic and not get told off

Can you please try and remain on topic.

Thanks

;)

If it wonders to far I split them off into a new thread :) don't like to interrupt the flow I'll continue in this fashion as long as I can. A time will come when it may be to hard to continue like.. or more to the point far to much work... we shall see :)
