Hi,

I'm Andy (not Andy the Admin) and I run in-a-tent which is a site I set up last year when I started to go camping and found that researching camping products was really hard. It was hard to compare similar products or even discover the alternatives because the products were listed on multiple retailers sites which I had to keep switching between them.

So I set up in-a-tent as a place to have a list of camping products with reviews and links to places you can buy them. Anyone can write a review or comment on a product and there are several editors who can add new products.

So here's the rub, in-a-tent needs reviews, your reviews, of the kit you own. So go on write us a review and help other campers decide on what's best for them. It doesn't matter what you think good or bad it's all important, sometimes a feature you find really annoying is exactly what someone else wants so you never know.

Anyhow I'm just posting to ask if you might consider writing a review or two for in-a-tent.

Also anyone interested in adding and maintaining the list of products let me know and I'll add you to the editors.

That's it I think, except that each review that gets published on in-a-tent generates a topic on here too.

Find the tent you are reviewing on the site easiest way is to type it's name into the product search box on the top right, there is a link under the description which will open a new page where you can paste your review.

If you have any problems (like the the tent's not listed) let me know.

I did look at them on the tentipi site but got lost in 200 people event tents and couldn't work out which one you had so i gave up in the end. Right the onyx 9 ...

do you want reviews of older kit too? I could easily write a review about my venture 500 but it's not a current model. think it was discontinued late 2008.
