Nodes Point Isle of Wight

Postby Wayne on Mon May 17, 2010 10:15 pm

The OH has booked us in at Nodes Point, Isle of Wight. Its not cheap at £190 for 5 nights but that includes the following at no extra cost:
Indoor swimming pool with slide
Kids club
Evening entertainment
Adventure Playground
EHU
Showers and pot washing facility
Its also right on top of the beach (really on top of the beach :D, I checked google earth)

So its not cheap, but its one for the kids, and I'm sure we'll love it too :D

The £190 for the 5nights does not include the Ferry, but should be cheaper with Tesco Vouchers) With it being less than 2miles from the main land in some places, you thought they would have whipped a tunnel in by now

Myself, I think its a cheap fun filled break. As always I will bring plenty of pictures back and site comments. The only thing I have to ring and check tomorrow is the pitch size. It says on there website that all pitched are 6m x 6m. My Vermont is 4.2m x 7.7m :? (its still less square feet though)

Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...

See here for my dates  :D

Rob, just had a good look at Whitehill, like the look of that, will be interested in your comments for next year. I priced it up for me at £164.50 for 5 nights, so my £190 isn't so bad for Nodes Point as they are very similar.

Did you have to pay extra for your tent or did it go on one of there standard pitches, what is there standard pitches. I rang Nodes Point this evening and gave them my tent size (7.7m x 4.2m) as there standard pitch is 6m x 6m. They said it was fine. As I see it there pitches are 36 square meters and my tent is about 32 square meters.

It went on a standard pitch.
I emailed them the plan of the tent (with sizes) and they just gave us a pitch with plenty of room. :D
