Which roofbox and bars?

Postby in-a-tent on Sat Apr 11, 2009 8:16 am

If you have read my blog post about choosing between a trailer and a roofbox you'll know I am pretty much decided on a roofbox. If you haven't read it it's here Roof box Blog post

So anyway which roofbox and roofbars?

I have narrowed the box down to 3 - the 2 from the article - Atera 820, the KAMEI 400 and another one the Karrite 380, the last one is considerably cheaper. Anyone have any views on them?

As far as the bars go, are the Aero bars worth the extra cost (around £25)?

Towbar was fitted this morning.

For th in depth reasoning why we decided to go with a trailer see here

Luckily we can borrow a trailer for our first trip next weekend, the ppl we're lending it to us have nowhere to keep it and we have space in our garage so we're going to store it for them and in return we get to use it.
