after the long coldest winter for years the season is almost upon us,especialy after the super warm weather today.we are booked to go away easter to our site in llangollen.so,when are you going ,and where? happy days are nearly here!!! :P
everything cleaned and packed away for 7 months

Booked the first week in april off at work last night with a view to getting a week/long weekend in.. not decided on location tho.. will wait and see who the weather is :)

First outing for us is pillaton pools.
Just booked taday and going on the 30th of April for the long bank holiday weekend yippeeeee :D :D :D

Brrrrr the first Week in April is a bit early for me ;)
That old jack frost will still be chillin the grass but it has been nice today. :D

in fact we were away in ours xmas ,6'' of snow but with central heating it was warmer in the van than at home.

reading some posts im suprised someone asnt come up with the idea of making things to make the camping season start earlier? like say heated airbeds[non electric]or better insulation means?

I think we had a topic going about this a while back.. I think the best offered solution was pitching up in a hotel room overseas :)

well, we think we are going to go mid may to woodhouse farm near Fountains Abbey. It's a lovely site and will be our maiden trip in the new tent so think that somewhere familiar is a good plan!

We're going to give Robin Hood a try too. Probably in June and then I want to find somewhere in lincolnshire (near Gainsborough) and somewhere near chester doe July and August.
