Been there and it is a lovely site.
I will put it in the mix but think it may be a bit far for our Milton Keynes crew.
Have a look at the map below it shows the location of the people who are goimg at the moment.

A tentative yes here. Location isn't a problem, any date in September should be ok.

Hi Guys

Been away from the forum too long, life's been full

Anyway, trying to get back here a bit more. I think I might be up for this, don't mind some traveling.

Hope your all keeping well (Merlin, thanks for the PM)

Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...

Hi , we would be interested in coming along , dependant on how far we would have to to travel ,

We are in North Lancashire , but can jump onto the M6 in no time at all .

Hiya

I have been having a chat with Andy and we think it is time to make a decision on where we are going for the campout and sort out booking up.

The MAP
shows where we are all situated and the two suggested sites.

The suggested sites are Pillaton Hall Farm

and Fforest Fields

If you have any more suggestions let me know but we have to be aware this is only for a weekend camping so need to be relativly central to all.
I think that the two sites suggested cover this but we are open to suggestions.

Please take a look and drop a line on the thread as to which site you prefer, as i think we could do with making a decision by the end of next week. Happy camping all :D

Hi,

Although I have previously camped at both sites, I have chosen Fforest Fields as my preference. The setting is phenomenal, proper peace and quiet, and camping as it used to be. Glorious!! :D

Hi ,

We have voted Pillaton , purely for it's easiness to get to for us, just off the motorway , a couple or so hours drive , which would make it do-able for a weekend .

Fforest fields looks great , which is why we booked it last year for our august holiday , we'll have virtually only just got back before heading back there if the campout was held there , plus Fforest fields is about a 4 hour drive away for us .
