Hi.
Wow!! now Outwell are certainly living up to their Dutch heritage. That really looks a safe, breathable, and eye pleasing family tent

Just need some actual photos of some of these tents.

But this seems very much like the clear lake only one pole section shorter

For many years I championed the Cabanon andorra design with the back door which gives campers the ability to create a through draft on hot night that as we all know can be very unpleasant, and also it as a lot of safety value. It is also a blessing when the wind changes directions.
I Think I am really going to like this tent very much when I get to see one. :tent: I already know the quality of the lake tents

I like, but I would like to take a closer look at the middle section. I would rather have a third bedroom than a central corridor.

Well actually thats not quite true, I love the privacy the central corridor offers for the occupants, but we need a third pod. Going to be looking out for this one, thanks Andy

Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...

K was looking at other options and have just stumbled across somthing very intersting..

http://www.campingworld.co.uk/Models.aspx?ModelID=7805

And to quote!!!

Outtex® 100% Ripstop Cotton
Outwell has been at the forefront of the resurgence in polycotton family tents. This is one step further. Pure cotton for the full ‘air conditioning’ effect – cool when it’s warm, warm when it’s cool!

:) :)

Now i understand the extreme pricing we have been seeing..

Also noticed as new

Tinted Windows
Perfect for keeping the sun’s glare to a minimum, thus preventing the tent from getting too hot during the day – at the same time still allowing you the maximum views out.

These are some good looking tents but i am still missing a canopy .........if it is raining i don't want to have the tent zipped up to stop the water coming in, i want it open and to be able to sit under the canopy and be social or do some cooking ...... i just dont think i could do without one

Hi all
Well found K
Just when my tent days are over,Outwell bring out what looks to me the ultimate tunnel tent, Cabanon stopped cotton Outwell as brought it back. Clever people those dutch tent makers
http://www.campingworld.co.uk/Models.aspx?ModelID=7805
100% breath ability fully sleeved poles. If they had only fitted individually pegged guy-ropes it would be perfect but that can easily be rectified if the owner prefers separate pegging on guy-ropes.But as I have often said you gets what you pay-for and just looking at this photo shows us why.
And Val always wanted an Outwell it was just the sleeving of the poles that stopped me buying a lake series for the 2 seasons at a guess they will recommend this tent for 3 or even 4 season
What a tent :agreed: :tent:
Regards
Rex.
PS.. this is one hell of a strong 4 season tent but it is contains no cotton so does not breath. But still a good buy if you own a trailer and want to camp all year round

Hi Rob
This is were the Tatonka tarp TC 1 would really come into its own for the tents side door.and this type of tarp is totally safe to use a Charcoal BBQ under .but knowing outwell it wont be long before they have one made :D :tent:
