Hi all
Wednesday and the sun as gone into hibernation again, the swallow and martins are now moving south in large flocks
and we will be spending more time in the bricks and mortar of towns that the oxygen rich woodland . We have decided to spend a week at Slimbridge in November, so I will have some easy access birding and Val some interesting towns.
This week once again as reminded me of the quality of the Camping and Caravanning Club sites and now as Val's Nephew as picked up our last tent a Cabanon Pacific,we are tent free , but I am still looking to get a quick erect tent to take our two bivvy beds for a maximum of two night away a second hand karsten 240 would be nice but it will probably be one of the Carp anglers bivouacs

this with our small 4x3 meter Tatonka tarp will make a great little weekend unit at shows and meets for two.
But it as to pass Val and my little solar system will give me power for all our needs

did it ever really start. its been a few days here and there of nice sunny weather, although that doesn't bother me or the family. some of the best camping we have done has been in torrential rain.

Yup it's been a strange year but i have to say that as far as camping goes our year has been quite good.
