inflatable chairs

Postby Villalad1 on Thu Jul 14, 2011 4:53 pm

Hi all just wonderd if anyone has got or used the Coleman inflatable chairs. They look good and comfy but are they any good. Iv got a big fold up moon chair and I must say it is very cumfy even for two :) but it takes up lots of trailer space and would like something like the Coleman chair as it deflates down nice and flat. Well thanks and happy camping ever one :)

I've wondered about the Coleman Inflatable U Chair, I've never tried one out.

Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...

inflatable chairs

I actually got to see the Coleman loveseat in the flesh at the weekend all I can say is I would hate to see how small the armchair really is as there was no way that sofa would fit anymore than 2 kids on it. I would need the sofa for myself and even then it's not that deep or tall

Hi my sister bought two of these, they are comfy ( though hard to get out of after a beer or 2!!) but hers kept going down so think she sent them, don't know if that's a fault or she was just unlucky

seems that most camping gear that has to be inflated goes down over time, airbeds, chairs, sofas, pillows ect.

Science bit.
They will defalte as the air molecules will pass through the gaps in the materials molecules eventually.

thats why helium ballons are foil , the gaps in the molecules are smaller than those in latex/rubber that normal ballons are made from.

we had a coleman gamers chair that kept going down quicker than the other one we had, I put it down to an iffy valve, by chance one afternoon deflating it by hand I felt a aitr blast on my hand and found a tiny tiny hole on the base. that got patched and has been right as rain since
Quechua 6.2XL , and now an OUTWELL Vermont XLP . not as bitey in real life as i seem online.
