5 days working out the best set up for our new tent three time and we both agree

that we have
sorted it out
Set up the laptop this morning and managed to get on line about 1100hrs poor signal hear from the Vodafone dongle.
We are a little upset with the comfort awning it as a 9" defect in the weave right in the center, there is no excuse why they mist it it could not have been checked at the makers I beleve Ten-cate,or not reported by the cutter or sowing dept, let alone their final inspection. and we found another small one in the opposite side.I will report what kind of after sales service we get from this.
Not what I expected from the Quality control of Karsten
I catch you all when we get home. By the way this great big 4 X 4 Volvo Estate is not big enough

so
so we will have to find £530 to fit the towbar then we will decide to get what will be our 6th camping trailer or we may get another Thule Backrack and basket .
all the best

Hi all
Val phoned Suzie, (Camping Travel Store), this morning and they are collecting the comfort awning for replacement to-morrow now that is what I call excellent after sales service.
But even though this really is a very quick straightforward tent to erect for normal people I am afraid Val and I don't quite fit into that category . And after just one camp in the Karsten tent we have to concede to age and disability

and put the tent up for sale James and Suzie are going to advertise it on the Karsten tent club web site for us.
We came home from the C & C Club site at Bude last night, and it was a pleasure to camp on what I call a good club site,No regimentation you know line after line of tin tents glaring in the SUN?

And val and I are going to join the tin tenters

But if we want to still get out there in our wonderful country side the a caravan is our only option . so if you see a disinchanted bearded old goat playing with a radio motor mover, please say hello
Regards
Rex.
