What happened?

Working nights this week, feeling a little tired tonight took a walk in the courtyard to try and wake myself up a little. Now i did this very same thing 2 nights ago.. and thought then its pretty warm its the end of september and no problem could cope with this under canvas and a nice warm sleeping bag.. Tonight though? its like it just drops into october and mother nature decides right thats it! no in between.. like a switch.. warm and then cold... not just a little bit really cold!

So october... camping... would it count if the pop up is pitched on the floor in a hotel room with a view ;)

Brrrrr
We fancied the end of season weekend on Shell island as they have some bands on and a big firework display.
However i think i walked out the house at the same time as you and suddenly the thought of that chill with no help from the old electric ........ errr ..Nope
Methinks the tent will stay retired for this year

Although I did a blog post about year-round sites I'm not sure if I'll make it anywhere as my girlfriend isn't keen on the cold AT ALL (she complains enough about the temp in the flat).

The weather still seems pretty nice though, will see if I can twist her arm.

Cheers for info

Night heaters OK as it's a Westy Atlantic, but some site get a bit funny if you leave them on at night.
