Worried no more

Postby airehead on Thu Jul 14, 2011 4:50 pm

We've never been camping before so we thought we'd give it a go. Bought an Outwell Nevada M off evilbay and then began to worry about putting it up on our first jaunt.

So, we were advised to have a dry run and we have just completed it. Laid out our footprinty thingy and carefully placed the tent on top and unwound it all. We had the video on our Ipad gadget and just followed the instructions.

Well, it was up in 15 minutes. Even my good lady, who is the most uncoordinated woman in the world, assisted brilliantly. We left it to breathe a bit and then took it down, unnecessarily worrying about getting it back in its bag.

What a lark. It really was very easy and our minds are now completely at rest - apart from the thought of doing it in the rain.

Lets hope the trip to Damage Barton next weekend is as easy.

Hi and a warm welcome to the forum

Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...

So that's what the camp meets are all about then - first to arrive ends up pitching everyone else's tents as they congregate for a natter and a cuppa..... :rofl2:

Oh and :welcome: to the forum airehead by the way!
