Does anyone know exactly how many people camp in the UK each year? Everything I read says that more and more people are choosing camping holidays because of the recession but I can't find any figures to show me exactly how many

I done a few searches..

And thats all i could find..

If you need to get a better idea it may help to contact the caravan and camping club they may be able to help with regards to the figures. but just remember not everyone uses them.. but may help you.
