I found a lovely site yesterday, just 15 mins from home. I'm thinking i may start camping alone when my girls are at their Dads, i'm a it apprehensive & excited at the same time, about the idea
Anyway this site is near a enough for me to be able to go to work in the morning & return to camp aftrewards.
I'll have to practice putting the Tigris up alone first though, or may have to buy a smaller tent.

Now that sounds a cracking idea

I have to agree why not.. I think the idea of leaving work and chillin on a campsite could be no better way unwind and relax!

I got chatting to my new neighbours today, it turns out they are also campers They have a folding camper & 2 tents, one of which is a pop-up. They even got the pop-up out to show me how easy it was to put up

So not only do i have neighbours that talk, but they are also campers!

Just a warning about pop up tents. Easy to put up, flipping nightmare to pack up!

My neighbour is a camper as well. Very handy. Great for borrowing stuff. He has a campervan now, so hoping he might lend me that as well!

My best friend has just borrowed some of my camping stuff including tent to give camping a trail with there little one ( he's 2 ).

Just hoping they can get the tent up without killing each other!!! :-)

It looked ok with 2 people, but it's not like i could just put in the car if i can't get it back in the bag.

Pop-up tents; "Just because you've successfully packed it away once, doesn't necessarily mean you can do so again!"

(I believe they take practise, & I've only tried the 2 man one!)
