Old camping photos

Postby Admin on Sun Nov 22, 2009 8:25 pm

Was over my mums and dads this afternoon. and dad handed me this photo!

1342

Must be about 1980'ish thats me and my younger sister running away from camera :)

All the tents are frame tents and i think if im not wrong?? thats an old mk1 capri their also.

Not sure on the location tho sorry? and our tent is not on the photo i suspect my dad who would have taken the pic is in/outside the tent and were running of to cause much trouble at the park

So i have asked them to dig out all the old photos so i can share them, how about you all??? any photos from days gone by?

Love it :D

Reminds me of my first camping trips with my nan and grandad.

The days when the only colour for a tent was orange, brown or orange and brown

I looked over them again, and yes you are right, all orange with either a hint of blue or brown.

But then think about it. walls and curtains at the time were either orange or brown lol.. i think we had brown and white check wallpaper at the time with an orange sofa lol..

oh and the car was a deep orange also lol..

Incredible,I really enjoyed looking at them, even the vehicles are worth a closer inspection.

Imagine if you could go back and set the Trout Lake up, you would cause a bit of a stir Andy

Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...
