I done some more digging, and looking at vangos website they only do the 600dlx so im thinking they may be the same tent. in which case this one is bargain! i will check further later today.. as thats £218.99 if you include the carpet which will help with keeping things a little a warmer :)

shop around and you may find the carpet cheaper :)

The only gripe i have with the vango is that the canopy is not very big for sitting under in the rain and cooking in.
The high gear one does not have a canopy at all as it is a gelert by another name. I only mention this as the canopy on my Hartford XXL is a Godsend and i dont think we would have had the tent without it.

I have to agree with Admin that the Outwell Michigan looks a good choice
http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/tents/famil ... 290225#top

Also the canopy should be available.

Hope this helps :D

Brilliant choice, I love the style of the Michigan for the solid metal posts.

Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...

Great choice matey.
My only advice now is to get the canopy. More than anything else this will make life so much more comfortable and keep out that nasty rain. :D
Happy camping matey :D :D
