Hi new to site

Although we are new to this site we have been camping for a number of years. We usually have a trailer tent but it packed up last year by letting most of the water in and we have now decided to go with the Outwell Vermont XL tent. We have 2 girls aged 10 and 4 and a new puppy who is 3 months old. We decided to go with the XL as we can all have a pod each and the wardrobe is then MINE  As a woman, I do like my cloths and shoes so perhaps a bigger tent should be thought about :o Anyway if anyone can let us have any comments on the XL that would be great. Look forward to hearing from you soon.

Welcome to the forum Woolfie :D

The Vermont is an exellent tent, The one thing i would suggest is the side extention

http://www.outwell.dk/TentMeasure.aspx? ... =928&pid=1

As this will give you somewhere seperate to cook which you can shut the door to to stop the little ones running past the cooker from inside the tent. There is plenty of room in the vermont so it should be happy camping.
Check out the camping forum campout thread and drop your name down if you are interested in coming to the first ever campout get together :D :D More the merrier Ps i have 3 girls and a boy and know what it's like :D

Thanks for your comments. Will def think about the side extension. Husband already said he wants one when we have a little money put aside. For now will keep looking at this site, which we think is fab.
