Camping In Portugal

Postby joeranghel on Mon Jun 06, 2011 2:18 am

Hi guys

My names Joe Ranghel im new to this site and have been camping once
for Benicassim music festival, but have never done proper camping before.
I'm looking to go camping in rural Portugal, I picked Portugal because I want
to go somewhere warm and nice and Portugal seemed to fit the bill. I'm looking for advice from someone
who has been camping in Portugal before because I'm guessing you can't just go and set up a tent any place.
So if someone could give me something to work with I'd be really grateful.

Cheers
Joe

Portugal is lovely, but the only site i know is outside Albufeira, which isn't so great.
Happiness is packing your tent away dry & getting it back in the bag :-)

Hi Joe and a warm welcome to the forum :welcome:

Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...
