Thanks for the info RC, I won't worry too much about that particular confirmation then.

I like CoC though. Very laid back, & very heavy on the social side of things, ie. Meets etc.

Whereas here tends to deal with info & technical help.

Not that either one is better or worse, nor are they specifically going out of their way to be one or the other, It's just the way I see it.

Both are very good, friendly places to be. The friendliest camping forums I have ever known, actually.

Wow! Some dissatisfied UKCS refugees here! I'm afraid I haven't been banned (yet ;) ) but I have had a couple of posts removed. Does that qualify me to join you in the 'naughty corner'?

Once they start removing posts that generally means you're on their hit-list. They obviously don't agree with something you've said, which is why I said, it's just a matter of time.

I could be wrong though. Still, come & join us on the naughty step (I liked that one to, Vicks), it's warm, inviting, & there's lots of lovely people to talk to about cooking in your tent & using gas heaters.....

tis true I am sure

my first identity survived a goodly while but once they had "noticed me" things didnt last long

my wife set up an identity (because you arent allowed to have more than one and I wouldnt break rules me) did ok for a while, but I was daft enough to link to the same homepage as my original account and things went off in minutes -they must have had some scripts or something running on the site to have spotted things so quickly

I have heard that some people have created UKCS related sports involving various childish and purile posting activities - when I get some time I hope to join in :tune:
