Whats the issue though? are you getting an error message? just want to be sure its working ok

It says it's too big, maybe because i don't have a digi camera, & the photo is taken from a disc

in case anyone else stumbles across this thread with the same issue, your Avatar must be no larger than 140px X 140px and no larger than 8k

If you have a picture from your computer you wish to use.

Is a usefull site that will allow you to set the size and resize the photo for you. (also provides different crops so you can chose the best one) copy the code from the one you wish and then paste that into the address bar. then right click on the image and save as. you can then upload that in your user control panel.

I'll do a better guide on this in time

That software is cool, Its quite hard to shrink them without and get it right. Nice one
