I've deliberately stayed off this thread as politics is the one thing that is always guaranteed to end up in an argument. The media is biassed, which way will depend on the outlet, so it's very difficult to get a balanced view and sometimes even the whole story.

I quite like Clarkeson and top gear. I also respect the strikers for standing up and being counted.

I do think this thread should be locked now so everyone can move on.

Sorry for my bluntness guys, I hadn't read all the replies in this thread, as some were being written as I was writing mine.

I'm not going to apologise for anything I said, just for the bluntness of my delivery.

If indeed I was a mod, I would never be so blunt. But I am not, so I have the gift of not having to be so impartial. Everything I said stands (in fact the post was edited, as i felt my final comment was indeed too much). Never look back, no regrets.
