There is a lot of talk about the material but I think the layout is the best feature.

We've got a TT (as you prob know) and one of it's best features is there are 3 distict areas: bedrooms, keep clean inner living area, can get messy outer living area. It's a really nice combination of spaces and it's replicated here.
Personally I'd have made the outer porch bigger and the inner living area smaller but apart from that I think it's great.
Not sure about the sloping front and I would def. NOT buy a carpet for the outer porch bit.

Our clear lake is pretty much same layout and agreed no carpet in forward section.. in fact we dont always put the zig in that section..

David are these the same? i.e. front section is a seperate zig?

Hi andy, There is a zip out groundsheet in the front room.

In fact i think both areas could have zip groundsheets, both living space and porch.

I really cannot remember from looking around it, only seen it up twice and have looked at hundreds of tents this summer, it's hard to remember all the key details for each one. Just looking in the Outwell book and it says:

"Zip out groundsheet and door in the front room"

But it does not mention a zip out groundsheet in the porch.

Not sure about the sloping front and I would def. NOT buy a carpet for the outer porch bit.

I have to admit that i was unsure as well when i saw all the Panoramic sloping fronts of the tents, but they have grown on me, also i think they enhance the views out of the tent with the new larger windows and it gives Outwell a point of difference on their tents which have been highly copied throughout other brand tent ranges. Also, the new carpets, i had quite a few requests last year from Tennessee 5 & 6 customers who wanted a carpet for both areas in that style, so i think Outwell are responding to that feedback from customers. Though i feel two carpets is excessive and also hikes the price up even further...

Just bought this tent yesterday,we have had a few big nice Outwells ,a Maryland XL and still have an Ohio Xl with all the trimmings,I went to camping world with the intention of walking out with a new Delaware 7 but after walking around the 150 display tents they have set up and finding the Yosemite ,I fell for it immediately,it just oooozes quality from every angle, yes its expensive but hey you only live once and If the Ohio does not sell for what I want for it I'm going to keep it for use if we are in a big group and there may be any undesirables about because no one is coming in my Yosemite! after the first pitch I shall let you know how it was to put up ETC ,first trip is for the jubilee weekend.
