VW Camper Hire in Cornwall - Advice Wanted

Postby nickhalluk on Tue Oct 25, 2011 10:45 am

Hi there, I wonder if you good people could help me.

It's my wife's 30th Birthday next Easter and she is a massive fan of Classic VW Camper Vans. Not having a spare 25 grand lying about to buy her one I thought it would be nice to go to the West Country for a week or so and hire one...

We have a two year old daughter and are regular campers but have no experience of campervans or campsites in Devon/Cornwall.

Has anyone on here had experience of this and recommend any hire company and/or campsite.

All input welcome.

Many Thanks,
Nick

Hi and a warm welcome to the forum. Sorry can't personally help but sure someone will

Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...

Haven't done it myself but i was thinking of doing it a while back.

It's defo not cheap to hire but if you was in the market to purchase one then it's probably worth it to try before you buy.

Here's a few hire companies to get you started........
