I was always partial to the Yam RD-125, whats making you go after the custom.

Have you got a bike license or is that the reason for the 125. What is the law regarding riding bikes on a car licence now

Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...

For anything upto a 125cc you have to complete the CBT takes about 5 hours and is pretty easy..

Anything above 125cc you have to complete the Theory test, Mod 1 (pretty much slow speed control emergency stop u turn etc. etc.) and then Mod 2 which is 45 min road ride with instructor.

I only have the Mod 2 left :) booked for 22nd September...

Nice andy, very nice.

Does that apply to all licences, or if you passsed your test after a certain date. Back in 1987 If my memory serves me I could ride a 125cc on a provisional at the age of 17 and I passed my driving test in 1988. I thought I could ride a 125cc with L plates, but maybe thats changed

Yup i was the same.. my original license had upto 125cc with L plates. however that law changed a few years back.. If you have updated to a new card license you will notice that has been removed.

Everyone now has to take the CBT which is essentially basic bike control costs about £110

Exept if you have the older lic you can ride a 50cc without L's and carry a pillion

My car lic has this and provisional for 125 so i will need to take cbt .... one question ... how do you get your bike to the cbt if you can't ride it
