I always think its easily erected in all the excitement, but its if it stays up that matters :think:




Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...

Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...

im more advanced Gillsy, i use cocktail sticks............... only thing is they hurt like hell with the pointed ends...

I find that watching the youtube video of the new tent being put up always helps the first time.... the problem comes when your husband watches a different video and you stand their arguing about the best way to put it up... in front of the whole campsite!

:agreed: nothing better than a competent erector. We had offers of help when we first started. A guy even came out of his lovely dry caravan once when the heavens decided to open with the tent only half up. In return we have helped others out putting up tents, lending them mallets and even a couple of kids plugging their hairdryers in. Campers are usually really willing to help each other (usually total strangers).
