I think so, the facebook button that I can click when its published does that not publish it to my facebook page ????

Yes, the buttons publish it to your account on facebook, twitter and the rest, but when it gets published it can't publish to your accounts at that point because it's not you doing it. Follow?

There is code that automatically publishes it from the server to facebook, twiter, tumblr and here but that uses the in-a-tent accounts on those services.

Does that make sense?

I could add a 'let me know when it's published' checkbox on the review form which would email you to tell you it's now published, would that be useful?

Yep, understand and makes sense, i think it might be a good idea to have a "its published email" informing the reviewer and reminding them they can now go and tweet it if they wish etc etc
