Wildday Ltd. still exists as a Ltd. company and is registerd to this address:
http://www.companiesintheuk.co.uk/ltd/wildday
http://www.jcca.co.uk/about-us/offices/elgin
Johnston Carmichael Chartered Accountants
Commerce House
South Street
Elgin, IV30 1JE
Phone 01343 547492

The new trading name is:
http://www.caravanaccessories.co.uk
Head Office: Duncrievie House, Seabank Road, Nairn. Scotland. IV12 4HA
Customer Services Number: 01667 451831.

This head office is the private house (one end of a semi-detatched) of the director (Michael Green) opposite the Golf View Hotel (Google street view is very good!)

"In addition to our new Scottish headquarters, our 13,000 available stock lines are stored in a 150,000 square foot Midlands based warehouse and dispatch centre, which also has an additional 110,000 sq ft of auxiliary warehousing."

This is refering to Unipart's warehouse based here:
http://www.unipartleisure.com/UK/index.htm
Unipart Leisure, Parkwood House, Charter Avenue, Canley, Coventry, CV4 8DA
and also
http://www.companiesintheuk.co.uk/ltd/coleman-uk
Coleman UK's warehouse here
GORDANO GATE, WYNDHAM WAY PORTISHEAD, BRISTOL, BS20 7GG

He doesn't own any warehouses, and he is just the "middle man" with him just processing orders and emails etc, hope this is of use.

Good afternoon,my name is Michael G Green and I am a director of Wildday Limited.

I read with interest the comments from AL1 and before I respond to his various points, I just have to wonder at his motivation for researching and publishing such detailed, but ultimately irrelevant information . It may just be that he does not appreciate a concept which uses technology to offer to the great British public an unrivalled choice of big brand names , rapid delivery from central locations and an unbeatable pricing structure.

Now as regards the various 'points' raised by 'AL1'

1.Yes we are based at Duncrievie House in Nairn , but please, to describe what is often mentioned as 'the 'best house in Nairn' as 'one end of a semi'-detached', is at best misleading. Duncrieivie houses two state of the art office suites, occupied by knowledgeable hard working staff who thoroughly enjoy working from a location with panoramic views of the Moray Firth.

2. We are not 'middle men' but a company that works in partnership with Unipart. This partnership means we have access to nearly 13,000 product lines, dispatched from several locations including, the main Unipart warehouse in Coventry. plus our customers get first access to all new Unipart products. In addition the partnership with Unipart provides our customers with access to a team of specialists with extensive product knowledge if we are unable to answer your query.

3.We do have a camping shop in Nairn, it's currently running a five day half price clearance sale, plus we run regular Tent shows. Last year we ran a four month permanent Tent Show just outside Nairn on the A96, where we had over forty tents on display.I will be posting details of next years Tent Shows on the http://www.caravanaccessories.co.uk website where we will be displaying the latest models from amongst others, Royal and Vango .

As regards instances of poor customer service, yes we occasionally make mistakes and I would take this opportunity to apologise to anybody who has received less than exemplary service. We are committed to providing the highest level of customer service and if anybody wishes to raise any issues, either old or new, please contact me @ mgreen@wildday.com or phone 01667 451831.

Best regards

Michael

Michael,

Thanks for taking the time out to respond to some of our members comments and not only offering some explanation but also a contact option should anyone require.

I was going to say I'd take the time out to visit the store and take a look round... I don't seem to be able resist looking around another lol.. however at a round trip of 1038 miles it will have to wait..

Thanks again for taking the time out.

Cheers

Andy

Contrary to the impression given by Mr Michael G Green in his previous post;

I wouldn't bother trying to visit the store as there doesn't appear to be one!!!! :o

Duncrievie House is registered as a private residence, and is NOT registered as commercial suites of offices!

There is only one "Camping/Climbing/Outdoor etc" shop in Nairn, which has been on the High St for 11years, and has NOTHING to do with either "Wildday", "Caravanaccessories.co.uk", or Michael G Green!
