You do a bit of stuff with the OU do you? I got my degree with them last year, and I'm starting my Honours in Jan 11 so I can get my BsC in Health and Social Care. Best of luck with your course.

Good luck, really impressed with those that can get off their proverbial and enroll with the OU.

I work in IT (as a developer) it can be very frustrating but also very rewarding.

What does your course cover?

This is my first time Sarah, I am really looking forward to but also a bit nervous. Well done you! We are going to have so much to natter about at campout!

IAT, this is only a level 1 course to introduce you to learning and IT and Computing. This course takes a year to complete and covers Data, Computing and Information. There is some programming involved with Javascript and some HTML. I have touch on HTML but Java is new to me. I think this course is quite basic and my knowlege maybe that i know a little bit about it all but I want to start at the bottom and get a good understanding of what i am doing. My school are funding me too which is good.

Sounds like a good plan, Javascript is a really useful language these days, you can write iPhone apps in HTML and Javascript. You need Java (not related to Javascript which is really confusing) to write Android apps tho.

Hope you enjoy it.
