I think we really will be seeing one of these at the campout :D

Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...

I need some camera advise......i'm thinking of getting a digi camera as though i love my aps, it's really difficult to get the films for it now. I havn't got much spare money at the mo, so something around £50 is what i'm looking for. It needs to be really basic & not difficult to upload photos.
Any help would be much appreciated, as i don't really know what i'm looking at :?

I was on nights and should be in bed lol..

but a quick search and come up with the following..

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/p ... 592221.htm

I think this is the one my son has and he has no problems with it.. (he's 7 but got it when he was 6.5 (Christmas))

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/p ... 419441.htm

This one in my opinion you really cant go wrong with! its quick also..

This fully automatic model is incredibly easy to use, even if you have never picked up a digital camera before.

I have used canon's for years.. in fact I think I'm on about camera no6 from canon and not because they broke just upgraded from much like the one above but in film format as digital was not about. then over to film SLR and then digital SLR i'm looking at a new one at the moment but dont have the cash :(

The thing with digital camera's is to look for the shutter lag.. in short.. think of the camera on your phone.. the lag is the time from you pressing the button to the picture being taken.. for example a camera with poor lag you click and you move the camera down thinking you have the shot as the shot is taken.. blurry picture.

http://www.cameras.co.uk/html/shutter-l ... risons.cfm

that list is a little out of date tho...

Have a search post some links and I'll take a look at them and give you run down on what you selected. will be later tonight tho at work :)

We don't use our digital camera anymore we just use our phone cameras.

There is that classic quote that the best camera is the one you have with you, for me that's my phone.

I swear by canon cameras but expect that any camera made by a respectable brand will be adequate.

Personally I have a quite expensive full frame DSLR which I love but also have a little canon ixus 95 which is ideal for keeping in my pocket and takes quite nice snapshots in full auto mode.

I'd suggest looking in a shop where you can actually hold the cameras first. Jessops etc.
