Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...

Thinking back now, I got a couple of funny looks and now I re-run it in my head I think I know why.

I hand him a toy car and caravan and take a picture and as I'm chuckling to myself I take it off him and put back on the shelf :? , don't know what people must have thought.

Good idea :D

We tried the Sim's last trip but the only problem was they (being singles) came apart and the OH fell down the gap.

We have just got a nice new fitted sheet (and matching pillowcases  ) to hopefully help hold them together.

Merlin,

we used to have the same problem with rolling into the gap, but Thermarest sell a 'kit' for joining two mats together. We got a set for our backpacking mats and they're spot on.

We then made a set for our base camp mats. Get a length of one inch webbing from a decent haberdashery, four times the width of one mat and sow the ends together, then sow across the middle, joining the material so it looks like a huge figure of eight, slide it over the mats. You'll need two, works a treat 8-) 8-) :D
Hilleberg Nammatj 3GT, Terra Nova Quasar, Cabanon Andorra & Calais, Outwell Trout Lake, Hi-Gear Ion 3 and hopefully a Field Candy 'Get a Room' coming soon!

No were due away on the 8th next month, but normally booked by now, but holding back to wait and see about zacs broken leg.. has kinda made things difficult on that front. his appointment is on the 26th this month.. thats only 4 weeks but doc thinks due to his age and nature of the break it may be fixed. if not its another 2 weeks

My youngest broke her arm when she was 3, a week before we went away. We bought one of those waterproof covers, so she could still go swimming, but she wouldn't put it on!
It's a bit more awkward with a leg though. These things always seem to happen in the summer
