Anyone want a teardrop caravan?

Postby CrazyCamper on Sun May 08, 2011 2:30 pm

Hope Admin don't mind me 'pushing' a colleague's item for sale? He doesn't use the net much, and I've just spent a while sitting with him to list his Teardrop caravan on ebay for him, so thought it may help him by passing the info on here too...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/150602601455?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fshop.ebay.co.uk%3A80%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dp3984.m570.l1313%26_nkw%3D150602601455%26_sacat%3DSee-All-Categories%26_fvi%3D1&_rdc=1 and it really is in mint condition as he only used it twice in the year since bought from new, as I can verify as I was with him at shows....

Did think of placing this in the classified section but could not add link to message on there, and as I'm not the seller it didn't seem appropriate

Nice one,,,good luck with the sale.

I do have one question. What was being watched on the TV in the picture on Ebay, that you/he felt needed to be smudged out

Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...

Sadly nothing Wayne.... :rofl2: There isn't anything installed in the space in my friend's example. That photo was the only one I had to use which was a 'stock' one.... as that feature is an extra option. Comes pre-wired for owner to install any car-type I.C.E.

My brother in law has one of these little guy teardrops and they really are very cool bits of kit. Hope he gets what he wants for it.

Incidentally, i really like the freestanding awning shown in the pic, that would be ideal for me to use with my own camper. Would he be interested in selling it seperately? Or else could you/he advise me what make and model it is so i could look in to getting one?

Cheers

Hi, the awning goes with the Teardrop I'm afraid - not selling seperate. I will try and find out from him about the make - i did know it myself but it's gone from my memory at the moment... It's certainly a huge affair, could sleep 6 in there if required as it's fully enclosed with SIG - or open up all the side panels and make it like a gazebo.... really handy bit of kit but I recall it was expensive...

Not my thing, to be honest the pictures of Andy's trailer make the tear-drop look tiny

Hi there! It's been awhile but did you find your free-standing awning? :)

No not yet im afraid. At least not one that works. We purchased an outdoor revolution movelite XL awning which we used for one trip but it didnt work to well with our camper and we sold it on.

Have looked at others but not found anything suitable yet.

The latest idea is to just get an old Canvas frame tent to pitch out the back of the trailer and not worry about connecting it.
