Hi all,

I'm looking for some advice. We are planning on taking our three year old daughter camping in France next summer, but we have never camped abroad before. I've looked at some of the campsites in France on the web but a lot of the bigger ones want you to hire their tents and we'd rather take our own.

I'd love to hear recommendations for good, family friendly sites in Normany or Brittany?

First off welcome to the forum.

The forum has been a little quiet over the last month being out of season, I have just got home having been away a few days, so will take some time out tomorrow morning to answer your questions.

For starters though taking that leap over is not as hard as many people think and opens up a huge amount of options for some truly great destinations.

Will this be the first time you take your daughter camping or is she already quickly becoming a camping guru?

Anyway.. Will give you some ideas tomorrow

I have to admit to being a UK camper so can not help here.
I was considering this for 2011 but it is the transport costs which knocked me a little but i will listen to what Andy has to say and maybe take the laep abroad.
