Postby strech on Wed May 25, 2011 7:28 pm

Hi guys quick question as I have my own business and times are getting a little hard :bang: was thinking of trading in the car & van and getting a transit double cab van mwb low roof, room for all the camping stuff the van would not be sign written and not (WHITE) Question is would sites allow this next to tent ? every time we have been camping weve allways taken the car (2) times :rofl2: but weve got the bug know

no but you would'nt get that close anyway they had the whole area squared off with windbreaks and two dogs that barked a sonic bark like bolt (disney film) and looked more like a couple of horses :)

A lot of sites state "NO Commercial Vehicles" but I think this is mainly aimed at the caravan brigade TBH as the travelling community tend to use vans and caravans.
If its not sign written (and it should be, a business without a sign is a sign of no business!!, thats the sign maker coming out lol) and has a side window its no different to any other T5, vivaro etc that you see littered around the campsites. If in doubt just double check when you phone to book, you wouldn't want to drive a fairway for them to kick off when you get there.

Does it need to be a transit or could you get away with a double cab ranger or similar?
