Hi
Last year we had a trip to Fron Farm at Mold in Flintshire , North Wales and really enjoyed it .
Here's a link to their website ....

There was a good play area , allocated times of the day when the children could help with the feeding of the farm animals . They also organised family friendly nature trails and woodland walks .
Most of the days we were there they did pony rides around the paddock there , this was just a couple of pounds , but all the kids got a Fron Farm rossette afterwards to keep as a souvenier .
All the kids on the campsite ( and some of the mums and dads too) , went wild for the tractor sledging . No charge as such for this , but did ask for donations , the owners did this for charity , (Alder Hays childrens hospital , whilst we were there )

Going without EHU ( As we did ) , I would reccommend asking to be pitched on the "Harvest" field , this was the smallest and most secluded of the camping areas , but had no ehu hook-up points .
There was a freezer available to use , and the reception sold a few of the essentials , milk bread etc .
