Is it this one you like the look of.Woolacombe Bay. I haven't personaly stayed at that site.

I stayed at Warcombe Farm, which I can recommend, although its not got as many facilities as the one your looking at. The area was nice, we had a lovely holiday and will return.

Nope, never took it out of the box. But, the salesperson said this tent was super easy to set up; even in windy conditions...

I am about to book this site for a week in August, looks like there is plenty to do for everyone and a pleasant walk to the beach.

Booked a week at Twitchen House, which is the closest park to the beach, in August, lets hope it's ok.

Stayed at Twitchen Park a few years ago in a static caravan though.

Had a great time - fabulous walk to beach and great pub with a sea view in Woolacombe itself - The Red Barn!!

As promised a review of Woolacombe Bay campsite, the pitch was big, we got our Zenobia 6 tent and porch, and gazebo and car on the pitch and had loads of room, some of the facilities like the indoor swimming pool and it's changing rooms were very tired looking and needed money spent on them, the shower block could have done with a bit of maintenance as well, the entertainment was very cheesy but they always are and that's half the fun! It certainly wasn't a 10 minute walk to the beach like they said more like 30 minutes and the walk back was all uphill, up very steep hills!!! We ended up sending 1 person back to get the car to pick the rest of us and the kids up, there was no way you could walk up the hill with arm fulls of boogie boards and other beach stuff. Overall we all enjoyed our stay but as it was our first time away we had nothing to compare it to but i hope this helps if you are thinking of going.

We stayed here about 9 or so years ago and didn't walk to the the beach it is a long way, The toilets needed work then and it doesn't sound like they have done anything. We also noticed that when it rained and it rained a lot that week that some of the pitches flooded. but I do want to return at some point as I just loved the views round there.

Good review Richie, thanks. But which park did you stay at? According to the brochure there are 3 of them.
